Simulation of Current Distribution and Transport AC Loss in REBCO-Coated Conductors with Artificial Cracks

Abstract:We are developing REBCO multi-branch wires introduced numerous artificial cracks. In this study, simulations for current distribution and transport losses of the wires in AC were performed, using a two-dimensional finite element method based on the H-formulation.
