Development of a Superconducting Magnet System for a Stellarator Fusion Power Plant by Gauss Fusion

Abstract:Gauss Fusion is a European fusion energy company founded by five industrial partners with expertise in fusion-relevant technologies. We aim to develop a stellarator-based fusion power plant in the 2040s while contributing to the development of an industrial supply chain for fusion energy. This presentation summarizes our current development progress and future R&D plans for the stellarator magnet system.
